Ice breaking is necessary in a new environment even for students or teachers. In the
beginning, if you were a teacher and it is your first time to join the activity, everyone
there is strange for you, so the atmosphere must be embarrassing. Therefore, you
can make a funny introduction about yourself at the first, and then play a game or
joke to make people feel more relaxed. In addition, ice breaking gets the student’s
curiosity and attention to make them more concentrate to what teacher is talking
about, so the ice breaking is essential.

Teacher is a delivery of knowledge to the students, but knowledge is not only for
students to get good grades on exams but apply what they have learned to their life,
like how to communicate and live together with others. The school is a microcosm of
society through to take part in works with classmates; you can know how to deal
with interpersonal relations. In the other hand, it is important for students to have
curiosity about the class, so the contents of the class has to evoke student’s interests
and the curiosity can be promotion for learning.

Mr. William’s presentation is funny and relaxing. We played games, like running to
look for sentences on the wall and memorize it to write it down. It is not like the
usual classes l had taken before to just sit on chair and listen what teachers say. In
addition, Mr. William asked us a lot of questions about teaching. He likes to interact
with us and listen to our opinions no matter your answer is right or false, you just say
it out and you will learn something from it.
