Saving PowerPoints as a Website You may save a PowerPoint as a website. It can be placed on the web and linked to your website for use of your students, parents, or others. Although placing links and buttons in your PowerPoint is nice, even normal presentations are professional and easy to navigate when placed on the internet. Saving as a Website: Produce a PowerPoint or open a presentation you have previously designed Go to the top left corner of the screen and choose “File”, “Save as” A menu box will open Go to the bottom of the menu box and click on the drop down box next to “Save as type” and choose “webpage” Type a name for you website and choose “Save” Your website is now contained in two items o A file of the Name you decided o A folder with the “name you decided Presentation files” When these two items are place on the server, it becomes a website with a menu you can access and use. If you are not used to placing items on the server, you should send the file to Mr. Sapp or your technology guru.
