Group Two While Mrs. Thomas walked into Mrs. Washington’s house, she saw a woman carried a little girl in her arms, looked very coolheaded. Mrs. Thomas went near to Mrs. Washington. She realized that there was something wrong when she found that the little girl was hard to breathe and dying. Right away, she dialed the phone number to Bob, a young quacksalver whom Mrs. Thomas considered a reliable gentleman. Mrs. Washington was trembled and murmured, “I have to do something for my daughter”, over and over again. “Relax, Mrs. Washington, I have asked somebody for help, just calm down. I will stay with you while we are waiting. Would you like some hot tea? ”. “No, thanks. Mrs. Thomas, You are so kind. Oh, my poor daughter. What should I do? How should I live without you?” Mrs. Washington began to weep. “Have you called for an ambulance yet?” Mrs. Thomas asked gently. “No, um, I mean, yes, but the hospital were not willing to give any help, and…and I have no idea what to do!” Soon after, Bob, the quacksalver came. “Thanks God you are here, there is the girl. “ After Mrs. Thomas account the situation to the quacksalver, and make an apology to Mrs. Washington, she left. Her little kid was waiting alone at home, she was a bit worry. Bob diagnosed the little girl quickly, he said with sympathy “She was dead, I’m sorry.” Frozen in time, Mrs. Washington looks blankly. Then she whispered to Bob, like she didn’t want to bother the dead,” Could you help me move my daughter to her room?” Bob did so, he held the girl to the upstairs, and felt surprised about the light weight body. However, no one saw him left after entering Mrs. Washington’s house. Several days after, Mrs. Thomas saw a suspend news which about a girl who died mysterious. She thought of Mrs. Washington and her daughter, and she would like to know whether she had recovered. She had called Bob for days; however, there was no one answering. Then, she went out to Mrs. Washington’s house and rang the bell. As soon as Mrs. Washington opened the door, Mrs. Thomas smelled something yucky. Mrs. Washington seems became thin and pallid. She asked “How was your daughter?” Mrs. Washington stood still for a second; she didn't answer but asked, “Would you like to have a cup of tea?” Mrs. Thomas had an intuition that there was something weird, but she ignored the feeling and accepted the invitation.
