 Figs. 3a and 3b present the pressure coefficients
around the cylinder’s surface in comparison
with the experimental results.
 The comparison of the data clearly proves that
both the experimental and Computational
results agree very well.

 This corresponds to the generation of a vortex from the
cylinder surface where flow begins to separate .
 The generation of this vortex takes place alternatively
between the upper and lower surface.
 The trends shown by these data sets are generally in
good agreement. It is found that the numerical results
agree with each other very well,

If a spoiler was mounted to the trunk of the car that was based on a
00HONDA S2000, the unstructured mesh system for the air surrounding
00the vehicle was successfully generated using ICEM/CFD.
A symmetrical boundary condition was applied on the plane where the
00actual computational domain was split into two.
The combination of these boundary conditions implies the simulation
00of a vehicle model securely mounted in the test section of a wind
00tunnel.
The computational settings chosen for this study were exactly
same as those (listed in Table 2) applied in the validation case.
