WHYFARM which means We Help You-th Farm aims at promoting
agriculture among children by increasing their awareness on the world
food problem and by doing so, grow the future feeders of 2050. This is
done by transforming the negative perception associated with agriculture
among communities, children in particular into a sector which is
worthwhile through agri-edutainment (agricultural education and
entertainment) to counter the challenges related to food security in our
communities and worldwide.
Furthermore WHYFARM aims to equip young men and women with knowledge and skills to identify
and recognize opportunities in the agricultural sector for self-sustenance and improved livelihood.
Why- WHYFARM?
By 2050, the population is expected to be 9 billion people. Therefore in the next 35 years, 5 to 10 year
olds (NOW 2015) will be 40 to 45 years of age. They are the ones that will be responsible for producing
our food. Therefore there must be new approaches to ensure that they (children) eventually take up
this task in order to ensure food security occurs and hunger is eliminated.

WHYFARM have developed a programme called AgriSTEM which is Science, Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics in Agriculture for the youth to see how diverse the profession of
Agriculture truly is.
The practical aspect of this lesson is done using our very own innovative design called "PonixKart" (See
below) which is a Hydroponics mobile cart (growing food with PVC and without soil ) Patented

One of our main innovations among many others is a derivative from a project entitled AGRIPoui Tree.
Emerging from this project AGRIman Adventures was born.
WHYFARM was able to successfully launch what we believe to be the World’s most powerful food
Provider “AGRIRIman” series 1 of the comic at this event. Hundreds of school children were given a
chance to meet AGRIman live and were very well entertained by him.
