Is there a way to tell whether someone is currently logged in? Or will I get the
“password doesn’t match” message?
Multiple people can log in at the same time, but it is NOT encouraged to avoid
database update conflict.
Do text boxes have a limitation of 250 characters? The reason I wanted
clarification is because when I copy text into the fields, it appears that there is
additional space for more characters/words.
Yes, the program will automatically trim off any characters exceeding 250
characters.
How can we enter multiple people from the same organization?
On partner page, use the “Other” category and enter the name manually. Make
sure the names are slightly different, like San Diego City-2, San Diego City–3.
Why can’t I find “College of the Desert” in the partner’s area?
It is listed as “Desert” under the CCC drop-down menu.
After reviewing five sectors that I have detailed knowledge of, I have
determined that we are not always aligning what is in the K-12 box to what
should be in the CCC Box, for those boxes with data inside.
Can we have the ability to add TOP Code entries in the CCC boxes?
As explained on the online application or instructions we weren’t looking for an
exhaustive analysis of all enrollment possibilities, but minimally one CTE course
sequence or program of study. That is at least one enrollment option for K-12 and
CCC that matches a typical or optimum pattern. I’m not interested in additions
because we took the work of CDE regarding CBEDS course descriptors
subdivided into the 15 industry sectors.
For TOP codes, we also subdivided them into the 15 industry sectors.
If you think it is a critical factor for your competitively scored supplemental and
you cannot express the intended CTE course sequencing in the provided area,
put it into the abstract.
If you’re applying for a WIP - Workforce Innovation Partnership - it isn’t
required and that part of the application is suppressed, other than a narrative
box.
Which sector areas are to be addressed in the “Core Grant”?
There are 4 required areas for the “Core Grant.” We have built in a “behind the
scenes -rule’” that the system won’t let you certify without addressing it.
The sector requirement is met when you choose a sector.
The other three requirements are met the first time you chose—in any area—
3 activities – P.D., middle school, and faculty externships

When I completed the Core all boxes were green, when I returned the Sector
box turned back yellow, although all sector related boxes are green.
How do I move on to the Supplemental and WIP.
Click SECTOR, then go to SECTOR ADD page, then uncheck “Check here to
indicate you have completed this form” check box, then click Save Button, then
Check the check box again and Save that will turn SECTOR to green.
