Costs of reorganization will be absorbed by JABSOM
budget
Current annual costs for private janitorial and grounds
keeping at Kaka’ako are $396,000 and $98,292,
respectively. Incorporating BU01 civil service
personnel to do these jobs will cast approximately
$418,920 in salaries and another $41,000 in startup
costs. This will provide a modest savings.
