b. In Stephanie’s own word:
“I started in the Department of Biology at the University of Hawai‘i
at Mānoa in June 2012. I am responsible for coordinating
Academic Advising for all Life Science majors in the College of
Natural Sciences and coordinating assessment for the Department
of Biology programs. In my time, here I have worked closely with
the Mānoa Assessment Office to bring assessment to the
Department of Biology and begin implementing it in a meaningful
way. I am interested in participating in the Mānoa Assessment
Committee so that I can provide input on the direction UHM is going
with assessment and stay informed of any assessmentrelated changes occurring on campus."
