advance of T1T3. These resources will be helpful for all future tests. With the exception of
bell work, these handouts should remain in each student’s ELA binder.
IV.
What does your teacher expect from you on T1T3?
Follow ALL reading strategies taught in class.
Annotate on all reading passages prior to answering test items.
Circle key elements in ALL stems.
Use strategies for answering Part B’s according to the instructions on the textual
evidence handout provided.
 Provide answers that can be supported with AMPLE textual evidence from the passage.




 ANSWER THE WRITING PROMPT APPROPRIATELY AND SUFFICIENTLY
USING ALL STRATEGIES TAUGHT DURING CLASS
 Pace yourself accordingly as to FINISH within the 90 minute block! The test is timed!
 Check your work!
 Ensure you have filled out all test answers accurately before you submit your responses.
