For our next project, you will research one of the community resources not covered in class.
You may want to choose a resource you are particularly interested in. You can start your search at Community Resources online ( www.crisisclinic.org
) or use campus resources.
Then you will use the information you collected about your resource to create a webpage.
Please use your own words when you are writing your webpage. Follow the instructions below.
1.
Choose a community resource that you are interested in.
2.
Research the resource. (You may want to get a brochure, call and make an appointment to ask questions and interview someone there.)
3.
Open WebpageTemplate.htm. (HTML files will automatically open in a web browser.
You may need to right-click on the file and Open with Microsoft Word.)
4.
Save as a Webpage (Click Save As – Other Formats – Save As Type – Webpage (*htm)).
5.
Click the Change title button.
6.
Type a webpage title that will show in the title bar of the web browser. Click Save.
7.
Type the resource information from your research.
8.
Create a link to the resource website somewhere on the page. (For help and tips see below.)
9.
Create a link to your email address using your name as the text.
10.
Email the file to your teacher by [DATE] to receive feedback.
11.
Revise, edit and turn in by [DATE].

Optional: You may want to change the font sizes, styles and colors of your webpage to make it your own. Please do not add images.
