DELEGATION of AUTHORITY
Authority for making decisions or taking action on behalf of the University and the
campuses are communicated through a series of delegations of authority from The
Regents to the President, with redelegation of the President’s authority to the Chancellors
of the individual campuses, or other University Officers, where authorized by The
Regents. In some instances, the Chancellors may be authorized to redelegate certain
authorities to act or approve actions to individual administrative officers on the
campuses.
