Computer Resource Planning Committee

We have collected information from the West Campus and the East campus for
the computer labs and equipment. We need to consider this data in addition to the
computer class enrollment figures projected for each campus.

An option to consider is a reallocation of computers and licensing between the
two campuses, as well as among the lab locations.
West Campus

Funds directed to the purchase of software have traditionally been a larger amount
at the West Campus because of the main library location there.
East Campus

Although the East Campus has more computer lab locations, the lab sizes are
smaller. An adjustment for specialty software might be easier to accomplish here.
5.
The committee is studying alternative sources of funding for software licensing,
upgrades, and maintenance.
