Lab Safety • No eating or drinking in lab • Clean up rule: – It is your responsibility to clean up after yourself and put everything back clean and where it belongs. Lab clean up • Put models back, as you found them • Put microscopes back • Put slides back in the proper box and correctly inserted. • (Another class comes in right after you – those students should not have to search for misplaced items!) Lab clean up • Dispose of other items as follows: – Paper towels go in the trash – Broken glass and slide cover slips go in “broken glass” container – Biological waste goes in red bucket: – Empty slides get rinsed, dried, and returned to box – Dissection tools: clean or put in wash – Wipe down your bench area when done MICROSCOPE SIGN UP • Sign in on the sheet next to you microscope number – • Use this same microscope for the quarter BIOLOGY TUTORING Monday 2-6 pm AS 1615 Mike A&P Tuesday 2-6 pm AS 1615 Moira Gen.
