Pronunciation guide
The vowels a, i, o and u are pronounced the same as Spanish vowels.
The vowel e is usually pronounced ə (schwa/"uh").
The last k in "kakak" is swallowed/silent.
The /ny/ sound ("semuanya") doesn't exist in the English language.
Translation notes
"Sayang" means "love" with the connotation of caring, dear and beloved.
"Adik-kakak": Bahasa Indonesia has gender-neutral pronouns and mostly uses gender-neutral nouns.
Siblings are therefore differentiated by hierarchical age instead of gender.
