ACADEMIC COLLABORATION AND INTEGRITY
I encourage you to collaborate with fellow students in completing homework assignments, quizzes,
and the payroll project. Use the discussion room to post your questions, as well as to collaborate on
completing assignments and the payroll project. Note, however, the mid-term and final exams are to
be completed by you alone. Cheating (including plagiarism) on these exams is a serious offense and
could result in a failing grade for this course.
INTRUCTOR-STUDENT RELATIONSHIP
The foundation of good instructor/student relationship is mutual trust and respect. I trust that you will
do what is expected of you and I in turn will conduct the course according to the course guide and
stated objectives.
If you have a concern about how the course is being taught, you should first check your course guide.
The course guide represents what you and the instructor are agreeing to do during the administration
of this class. Next, assure yourself that you understand what is expected during the course and that
you have done your part in managing your education.
If you still feel you need to address your concern, please first give me the opportunity to resolve the
issue with you before consulting others. I will make every attempt to resolve the issue to your
satisfaction. If you are still unsatisfied after I have attempted to resolve your concern, other options
for resolution are still available to you.
