ENGL&102 – English Composition II (Online)

Seminar Paper #3: Research Proposal/Annotated Bibliography RD

Seminar Paper #3 has three parts. Separate your response into those three parts. Write in complete sentences and in paragraph form.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is your rough draft for Major Essay #3, however, because of our condensed summer quarter, there are only three days between the deadline for Seminar Paper

#3 and Major Essay #3. What this means is that, at the time you submit Seminar Paper #3, you should be further along on Major Essay #3 than what you turn in here. Otherwise, you will not have enough time to complete the assignment. So think of Seminar Paper #3 as a snapshot; you’re showing me a sampling of the work you’ve done for Major Essay #3.

 Part 1: The Topic: Describe what your research topic is and how it stems from a thread you located in Dave Eggers’ book Zeitoun but also how it applies beyond the book.

 Part 2: The Annotations. Provide two of the annotations you’ve done so far (one full and one abbreviated). As the note above says, it is strongly recommended that you have

more than two annotations done by the Seminar Paper #3 deadline.

Part 3: The Conclusion. Choose any two Conclusion questions from the assignment sheet and provide your current answers to those questions.

Requirements: 2-3 pages; MLA format; double-spaced; 12-pt font; 1-inch margins; thoughtful, interesting title.

Due Date: Sunday, August 13 at 11:59 PM
