Seminar Paper #3 has three parts. Separate your response into those three parts. Write in

Part 1: The Topic: Describe what your research topic is and how it stems from a thread
you located in Dave Eggers’ book Zeitoun. Make sure to phrase your topic as a question.
Use paraphrase and reference specific details from the book. Step into and out of 2-3
quotations from Zeitoun in support of your discussion.

Part 2: Application: Describe how this thread applies beyond the book. Why is it a
worthwhile issue to research?

Part 3: Expectations: Describe what you expect to learn during the course of your
research.
Requirements: 2-3 pages; MLA format; double-spaced; 12-pt font; 1-inch margins; thoughtful,
interesting title.
