Set up an appointment with a paralegal in the United States (some use
the term “legal assistant,” to do a short interview. One good source is
with the law firm where you are also interviewing an attorney! Other
sources might be through a government office – like the King County
Prosecutor’s office, or the Seattle City Attorney’s office.
10-15 minutes should be about right – although of course you can spend
as much time as the paralegal is willing to give. Please THANK him/her
