YOUR OWN PROJECT You can create your own project for BUS 200. This can be virtually anything, about any area of the law that YOU have (or want to develop) a special interest in. It will normally involve some amount of research in law books, on the web, or in discussions with people in the legal profession. Some examples of projects that students have done recently: Writing a “Last Will and Testament” Writing a “Living-Together Agreement” Setting up a new business, and creating a Corporation Finding out the process to Change Your Name Preparing a Promissory Note and Security Agreement for selling a car to a friend, with payments over two years. Comparing legal education between U.S. & Japan Comparing the Korean Constitution to the U.S. Constitution Points for these projects vary, depending on the depth of the research and difficulty of the project. Normally the point range is between 25 and 75 points. Let me know what you are interested in doing. I may be able to guide you to some reference sources. Please send me an e-mail, describing what you have in mind.
