Constitution of the _________ Club
At Utica College
The purpose of the __________Club at Utica College shall be to hold events related to
__________________________________________________. This shall be achieved through
community outreach and fund raising.
Article I.
Section. 1. Membership shall be open to all Utica College Students, Faculty and Staff
who are interested in ___________________.
Students must be on the _______________ club’s membership roster on Pioneer Place in
order to be considered members of ________________.
Article II.
Section. 1. A President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Webmaster shall be
elected once a year by the members of ____________________.
Section. 2. The responsibilities of the President shall include:

Section. 3. An Advisor shall be selected by the President from the Faculty or Staff of
Utica College, who shall have the following responsibilities:

[Optional] An additional faculty or staff member of Utica College may be selected by the
President to serve as an Assistant Advisor, who shall be tasked with assisting the Advisor.
Section. 4. In the event of a vacancy in any of the before mentioned positions,

The members of _____________________ reserve the right to impeach any Officer
whom is not performing their responsibilities, loses eligibility for their position and/or is
involved in unethical behavior.
Article. III.
Section. 1. Elections shall be held once a year, on a date decided upon by the
_____________________ Club.
Elections may occur through e-mail or by secret ballot, but regardless of the method of
vote collection, all votes shall be counted by and confirmed by the Advisor of the
__________________________________ Club; Officers shall be selected by a majority vote.
Only Members registered on Pioneer Place will be eligible to be officers of the
___________ Club, and only Members registered on Pioneer Place will be permitted to vote in
elections; any Student not in good academic standing with Utica College will not be eligible to
be an Officer in the ____________ Club at Utica College. Officers are required to retain their
eligibility throughout their time in office.
Article. IV.
Section. 1. The __________________ Club shall not discriminate against anyone on the
basis of race, gender, political affiliation, sexual orientation, ethnicity or religion.
Article. V.
Section. 1. Amendments to this Constitution may be proposed by any member of the
_______________ Club; when introduced, amendments will be discussed and then tabled until
the next meeting. At the subsequent meeting, the amendment may be approved with a two-thirds
majority vote by the membership of the__________________ Club.
Approved amendments will be presented to the Chief Justice of the Student Senate, who
shall ensure that they are in accordance with the Constitution, Bylaws and Laws of the Student
Senate. Once approved by the Chief Justice, the amendment will immediately take effect.
