September 7, 2001 Jeny Schanbacher, Wym’onStage Hi everybody, sorry about the delay in getting out these minutes, but I've been locked out of my room for an hour-and-a-half TWICE today, AND I've lost my keys, AND my computer isn't working, nor is the cluster in my building. Yes, my day has sucked. Righto then, minutes ;) -- Ask Katie G.: are we putting logos on the poster or not? -- Intime and Wym'onStage are switching Tiger Night slots (that is Cliff's official spelling of the event) -- Someone check with Katie when the Prince ad is going to run (did we decide who's going to do that)? If not, I nominate Ben. -- BH and Intime, PLEASE shorten your blurbs; some groups don't even fit on the flier right now. -- STRIPES wants to join PAC; we voted them in officially. - we all have reservations about admitting new groups because attendance has been so poor. We plan to admit STRIPES with a proviso that attendance is "highly encouraged." Should we cc. Quipfire!? -- Officers from each group, please e-mail Amanda a primary contact person, to simplify mailings (include performance and audition dates for the year) - send your performance and audition dates to Cliff as well, for the website, if you haven't already -- If you haven't yet reserved rehearsal space in Frist, do it NOW or you will not get any. You need to speak with Kim Collins. -- Amanda says that Richardson has nothing to report. "Changes" may theoretically be in progress, but not soon enough for us to see any. -- A position for a tech director has been approved by the administration, but a space for a tech shop is still in debate. -- Hm... when people pre-order tickets at Frist with credit cards, 2-5% of the price goes to the credit card company, and not to us. We should look into this, and see if there's a way for us to get the full price. Maybe the student agencies could help us out? OK, that's about all. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday the 25th at 6 p.m. I'll reserve a room and ask Paul about dinner. I'll get back to y'all when I hear back from him. ~J~
