Starting Wednesday, April 27th the Los Altos Police department will be writing traffic citations to enforce 15 mph school
zones. It will be strictly enforced to protect students and community.
All students who took AP Microeconomics in the Fall semester and would like to review are invited to two review sessions.
The first will be Thursday, May 5th during 7th period in room 312. The second will be Thursday, May 12th during 7th period in
room 312. We will review units 1 and 2 on the 5th, and units 3 and 4 on the 12th. Also, if you have a free 3rd or 5th, you are
welcome to sit in on class in room 312.
Attention Seniors! The Senior Class panoramic photo will be taken today during Tutorial. Order envelopes are available in the
Attendance Office. You must have the money and order form turned in at the time of the photo.
Seniors! If you signed up for Grad Night you can now sign up for your bus! See the registration table outside the large gym
during dodgeball at lunch to sign up!
Seniors: If you are planning on attending De Anza College next year, Ms. Gorman will be hosting an application workshop in
the College and Career Center today during 7th period, and again after school. You will also learn how to sign-up for
Saturday's Open House at De Anza College.
Brown Bag Lunch Speakers this week in the College and Career Center: On Wednesday, Marie Borin will speak about
Biotechnology and pharmaceutical R&D careers. On Friday: Richard Sonnentag will discuss his career as an in-house lawyer at
Google.
We are still looking for more nominations for this years’ Wholistic Teacher Award. Has one of your teachers gone above and
beyond to make you feel welcome? Feel supported? Feel like someone understands you? If so, go to

Have you wondered what college is really like? The View Teen Center is having a College Students Speak Up Event, for you to
get firsthand knowledge about college from college students themselves on Wednesday, April 27th at 4:30pm.
The Pink Dot Club will be celebrating National Organ Donation Awareness Month all week. Come learn about organ donation
and play games in the quad during lunch all week.
Do you want to help plan a TEDx conference at LOAHS next year? We are putting together a committee of dedicated, capable
students who will work together to make this day happen. Come to room P-14 on Friday at lunch to learn more! Pizza will be
provided.
Interested in playing football? Spring ball is right around the corner. If you haven't already been showing up to football, we
are in the weight room Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30. Remember Spring ball is mandatory for anyone
interested in playing football next season. It begins on Monday May 16th and the coaches and players are excited for next year.
