The cost of the programme is £790 per person. The fee covers course materials and administration costs, but not your travel and accommodation expenses (if necessary). The IPC cancellation and non-attendance policy applies.

There is also the opportunity to accredit your learning on this course, at an additional cost of £500, and gain a Certificate of

Credit from Oxford Brookes University. To do this you will need to attend a support session on 8 September 2016 and complete an assessed work-based project.

Accreditation Entry Requirements

You can choose to accredit your learning from this course and gain a certificate of credit from Oxford Brookes University – worth 20 CATS credits at postgraduate level – to help with your Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Your employing agency is expected to provide you with appropriate support whilst undertaking the accredited award. The course is aimed at commissioners in public care organisations.

if you do not:

I have a professional public care or degree level qualification, or have a minimum of three years ’ experience in public care and/or commissioning

I undertake commissioning, purchasing or contracting activities in an NHS organisation, local authority or related agency

I have the support of my employing agency and line manager to undertake this qualification

I have access to the internet and will be supported to be able to download the recommended resources and engage with a virtual learning environment
