Cougar (Sensoria Node) A platform for testing query processing techniques over ad-hoc sensor networks. Three-tier architecture : – – – The QueryProxy, a small database component that runs on sensor nodes to interpret and execute queries. The Frontend component, which is a more powerful QueryProxy that permits connections to the world outside of the sensor network. A graphical user interface through which users can pose adhoc and long-running queries on the sensor network. Node Capabilities Processing – – Aggregation of network data In network processing of data Sensing – – – Accoustic Seisimic Passive IR Online Demo Visit: http://cougar.cs.cornell.edu/public-demo.php – – – QueryProxy demo applet SimTracker demo applet Also available in java jar file format Query Proxy and Sim Tracker Query Proxy – – Interface to view results of many network queries Networked: remote connection to query server available with multiple concurrent connections Sim Tracker – – Simulates Activity sensed by sensor network Simulates: Pedestrian, Bike, Car, Tank, etc. Screenshots Screenshots
