Anchor Institutions Task Force at 3pm on November 17 at the Chicago Community

The Anchor Institutions Task Force (AITF), a network of over 400 members, is an ongoing think tank
to develop and disseminate knowledge to help create and advance democratic, mutually-beneficial
anchor institution-community partnerships. The AITF makes the case for the crucial role of anchor
institutions in community and economic development. The conference will continue the AITF’s efforts
to strengthen how anchor institutions improve health, education, and economies in their localities and
regions. Leaders in institutions of higher education, medical centers, community foundations,
government agencies, and other entities committed to place will be among the conference’s attendees.
