What is the Office of Student
Accommodations?
• It is the office which approves academic
services to students with disabilities
• Disabilities may be physical,
psychological, or learning in nature as
defined by Section 504 of the
Rehabilitation Act and the Americans
with Disabilities Amendments Act.
Student Accommodations Mission
The mission of the Office of Student Accommodations
is to:
• Value each person on campus and their right to
equal access to Temple College's programs and
services
• Provide the opportunity for students to be
successful learners
• Promote students' personal growth inside and
outside of the classroom
• Maintain legal compliance to all applicable laws

semester to discuss accommodations
and request letters for your

Americans with Disabilities Act
In accordance with the requirements of the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the regulations
published by the United States Department of Justice 28 C.F.R.
35.107(a), Temple College’s designated ADA coordinators shall
be responsible for coordinating the college’s efforts to comply
with and carry out its responsibilities under the ADA.
