Listi city manager front runner
BELTON — The Temple Daily Telegram reports that Belton City Council Tuesday night approved a
second interview with Temple Assistant City Manager Sam Listi and he was proclaimed the leading
candidate for the Belton city manager job. After the council met, Listi said during a phone conversation that
the chances are very good that he would accept the job
during the Feb. 5 interview. Council members went into Tuesday’s special meeting with two possible
plans: Either select a finalist or set up another round of
interviews.
