Few ride Temple-Killeen buses as they begin commuter service
The Temple Daily Telegram reports that the Temple-Killeen commuter bus service breezed through its first
day but few passengers took advantage of its availability. But Kris Gauze — director of traffic
and customer service for Arrow Trailways in Killeen — said that’s to be expected. Ms. Gauze said there
were no passengers on the day’s first Killeen-to-Temple
run and only two passengers on the second Killeen-to-Temple run. “It’s going to take awhile,” Ms. Gauze
said. “I’m very pleased that we got two (morning) riders.
It takes about two weeks to get somebody accustomed to this.”
