STARLINK TELECONFERENCE Starlink will present a brown-bag lunch teleconference "Lighten Up and Live Longer: Developing a Stress-Resistant Personality," on Thursday, February 22, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Bijou Theatre of the Hubert L. Dawson Library. Practical tips will be given to lighten one's workload with laughter and see the positive effects humor has on stress. Individuals will learn how to strengthen their "cope-ability factor" to improve their health. Featured experts include Steve Wilson, author of several best selling books on the psychology of improving workplace environments to lower the stress level of employees, increase moral and productivity, and improve communication. Connie Tyne, Executive Director of the nationally renowned Cooper Wellness Program in Dallas, will also be speaking. Ms. Tyne teaches workshops on stress management, goal setting, and aging well.
