Chamber considers lobbyist The Temple Daily Telegram reports that the Temple Chamber of Commerce board of directors decided Tuesday to start a search for a lobbyist who will represent the city in Austin on transportation issues.Kyle McQueen, chairman of Legislative Affairs Committee, said the chamber will submit a letter to members in an attempt to fund the effort which is estimated at $60,000 annually for a five-year period."In doing this, business leaders will have an opportunity to have input and the lobbyist will help bring the city's transportation issues to a common voice," he said.The city of Temple hired a lobbyist, John. C. "Cliff" Johnson, on Nov. 15. Johnson is to be a general spokesman for the city but his expertise in water issues is to be most useful, according to City Manager Mark Watson
