Fellow Texas Regional Law Enforcement Agency employees, the time has come once
again, for us to lend a helping had. In the past, our company has donated its time and
financial support to the United Way Campaign. As you all know, this is for a good cause
and we are asking you to donate what amount you feel would be appropriate. The money
collected will be used to bring people together to focus on the most important needs in
the community -- building partnerships, forging consensus and leveraging resources to
make a measurable difference.
The United Way has helped our community and many others in numerous ways. I would
like for our company to continue the tradition begun in 1998 with 100% participation
again this year. I would like for our 2004 United Way goal to be $10,000. With
everyone pitching in, we will reach our goal in no time.
The United Way has so much to offer the community; however, it can do nothing without
the help of corporations like ours. Dig deep into your hearts, and pocket books, and give
what you can.
I am attaching a pledge card for everyone to fill out. You can pledge anonymously or
openly, either way the United Way can use our help. You may put the cards in my box or
hand them to me personally no later than Monday, March 8, 2004.
