Also I assist in most of the Human Resources responsibilities, employee screening,
and interviews.

Opened a new hotel and oversaw it revenue goals, SOPs, Systems training, and
developed a system that increased our walk-in conversion percentage.
In charge of both properties in the absence of the General Manager

really about 9 and ½ months of full operation in a highly competitive limited
services market.

Took over an organization ranked last in Attendance, (988 per home game.)
Revenue, (less than 5, 000 per home game) and Fund-raising (3,000 the entire 2002
season.) of 18 WPFL teams.
Spearheaded a marketing campaign that increased community awareness by hosting
team functions, player appearances, team autographs, team and player photos.
Set up the team’s reach and teach fund, which the team staff and players donated 2
hours a week working with the youth of Springfield and other surrounding
communities. The team would also donate $150.00 dollars to a different youth group
after every victory.
Started the Be An Avenger Volunteer recruitment program, which increased
volunteer recruitment by offering incentives to both the office and game day
volunteers therefore making them, feel welcome and apart of the family concept I
was looking to build throughout the entire organization.
Attendance increased every year under my leadership. 2003 (4873 avg. per home
game) 2004 (5212 avg. per home game) 2005 (5736 avg. per home game.).
Revenue also increased with the addition of concessions and vendors at all home
games. 2003(over 30,000 per home game), 2004 (over 32,000 per home game)
2005 (over 35,000 per home game).
By hiring four commission based outside sales representatives I was able to boost
Fund-raising and business-to-business advertising. The team would also host team
auctions, business after hour’s events, and became strong members of the chamber
of commerce. (Avg. over 80,000 a year in Fund-raising dollars.)

Maintain constant contact with local media regarding player status, team signing,
and personnel changes.
Worked closely with the general manger on key decisions, hiring, terminations,
promotions, and interviews of operation personnel.
Developed a commission base salary structure loaded with incentives that decreased
staff payroll by 27% while increasing profits by 47%.
Set standards for new position and created SOP’s as needed.
