SUBARTICLE 7-2.1 (Page 59) is expanded by the following:
Apply for a building permit from the local Building Department upon receipt of
the notice to proceed. The Contractor shall pay the fees for the building permit, plans review and
inspections. Permit applications and appropriate fees shall be sent to the appropriate building
official having jurisdiction for the area in which the project is to be constructed. The Contractor
shall comply with the permit application and construction document submittal requirements of
the local building official.
No additional Contract time will be granted to obtain the building permit or for
coordination with that agency.
