February 12th, 2007 When the minutes seem like hours… And the hours seem like days, then a week goes by, you know it takes my breath away! Yes, I admit it, I am a Hanson fan... Anyway, onward to the minutes!! --So, Ashley Gallo would like to hand out puffy and colorful cats to individuals inquiring about hockey tickets in the Free 2 Be office. --Singled Out! It's tonight at 7:30 in Ira Allen! It's $2 to attend, all proceeds go to Relay for Life at UVM. F2B is cosponsoring this event with Greek Life, and Rae is actually Co-Hosting with Elyse Gambardella! There will be a round with some F2B peeps in it, hey I'm in it, so come along and support!! --Revolutionary Love is on Friday night, 10pm-1am in Billings North Lounge. It's totally free, and it's going to be an awesome night, I know becuase I'm decorating it. F2B is Coco-sponsoring it with QPOC, Linemen, Compus Programs and LGBTQ&A Services. --LGBTQ&A Services will be making a big poster for all the events of LGBTQApril, but for the events we are having in LGBTQApril we want to have separate posters. Chris offered to make posters for them and have the publicity committee help post them. If you would like to have any input on the posters, email Chris (criel@uvm.edu) Also, if you have an event you would like to see happen in April, please talk to one of the officers, we would love to hear ideas from everyone! --Time Out! This Wednesday, Balemtime's Day, come to the F2B office at 8pm and have desserts and other delicious goodies with Jaska and Meryl and play games or watch a movie. It's sure to be a grand time, just make sure you RSVP to Jaska (jbradeen@uvm.edu) so she knows how much food to bring. --Vagina Monologues are next week, Feb. 22, 23 and 24th. I encourage everyone to go, the show is going to be amazing. Tickets are $10 for students, and I have a bunch to sell for the 22nd and 23rd, so email me (jealexan@uvm.edu) if you would like one. I will be in it so if you come for no other reason than to hear me rant about my Angry Vagina...that's fine. --TIC is on the 24th! You should totally come, registration is online at http://www.uvm.edu/~tic/ and is freeeee! If you want to volunteer and couldn't make last week's meeting, it's ok, email Ashely Gallo agallo@uvm.edu, and let her know. Next week's meeting is very important, however, because volunteers will be choosing what jobs they want/ sessions they want to attend. --URBAN FLAVA STEP TEAM TRYOUTS WHEN- Saunday, Feb 18, 2007 WHERE- Gutterson Multipurpose ROOM ( Located near the ice skating rink) Signs will be posted TIME- 12:00 NOON NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED, SPREAD THE WORD!
