Jeanne Hutchins is the Executive Director for the Center on Aging at the University of Vermont and the Manager of Elder Care Services at Fletcher Allen Health Care. She received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Saint Michael’s College. During the past ten years she has played an active role in aging services, program development and community education in Vermont. Jeanne is currently on the board of directors at the Champlain Senior Center, VNA of Chittenden and Southern Grand Isle Counties, Vermont Health Foundation, and the Burlington Supportive Housing Initiative. She also served on the board of PACE, Vermont for 7 years. Ms. Hutchins is a regular presenter at the annual Aging in America and Association of Gerontology in Higher Education conferences. Jeanne was a leader in the development of several programs at FAHC to better serve the aging community. Those programs include the Fall Prevention Clinic, The Hospital Elder Life Program and the Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders. Prior to her entrance into the world of aging, Ms Hutchins’ career was in sales and marketing. She was a sales representative for Digital Equipment and the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Lane Press, Inc.
