The amount of time required to complete all stages of the process varies according to the needs of the department and anticipated start dates. Conditional Offer of Employment: A conditional offer of employment with Madison College Public Safety is the successful completion of the background investigation. 6. Background Investigation: A thorough and detailed background investigation is completed on the top candidates who successfully pass the Chief’s Interview. 7.
