Description of Business Environment:

This programme will deliver a multi phased programme to train commercial nuclear operators and technicians for a new generation of Nuclear Power stations. The programme will adopt a systematic approach to training and will include the following disciplines/roles; Human Performance Engineering, Curriculum Development, development and use of Advanced Simulation Products/Training Aids, Courseware development, Training and Education delivery and Trainee management.

Specific Job Description:

The Multimedia Production Specialist Senior researches, prepares and produces audiovisual (film, videos, interactive multimedia, DVD or CD) for intelligence customers, clients, and other internal and external audiences. Consults with user to assess appropriate medium, creates product concepts, plans production, produces video, digital effect creation, final editing and tape duplication. Knowledge in system applications, database designs, database programming, and networking skills. Ability to incorporate audio, video, graphics, and textual data to create highly advanced presentations.

Researches and prepares storyboards and scripts for multimedia presentations and creates interactive applications utilizing imagery, maps, text, video, and graphics. Video capturing, editing, and creation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert knowledge and design support to the LM UK training and development teams by undertaking Lockheed Martin Quality Assurance Engineering activities including:

Providing oversight to quality assurance activities in the analysis, design, and development for the horizon training programme for system operators, technicians. Instructors and support personnel.

Required Skills :

Typical Minimum Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of

professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Achieved or seeking to achieve Chartered status with an appropriate institution

Nuclear industry qualification(s) in operations, maintenance, radiation protection/control and/or nuclear chemistry. In-plant nuclear experience in the commercial or defence nuclear propulsion domains. Experience in working in domestic and international nuclear energy domains. Experience in designing training solutions that include affective domain training. Previous experience in designing training solutions in the nuclear energy domain is desirable.
