Compensation & Benefits Dir Job Reference: LM People Job Code/Title: Location: Programme / Functional Group: EBS11714 L7197I /Compensation & Benefits Dir Whiteley/ London EBS - Functional Description of Business Environment: The Director of International Total Reward & Performance Management will be responsible for executing the combined compensation and benefits strategy internationally; in order to attract, retain, engage and motivate employees while remaining consistent with the Corporate strategy. The candidate will represent the combined Compensation & Benefits organizations at the International Review Board and will lead the respective compensation and benefits teams across all international regions. The role also ensures governance oversight and efficiencies are achieved within each region. Specific Job Description: Primary interface for all international and regional total rewards and performance management matters, providing expert advice and counsel to the International Review Board. In accordance with global pay strategies and programmes, develop and deliver all aspects of incentive and reward programs, ensuring alignment to business strategy and competitiveness within the relevant market; as well as agility to respond to business requirements. Responsible for establishing benefit strategies, design, administrative frameworks and estimated cost to ensure best practice, efficiencies and protection of corporate reputation. Responsible for the successful delivery and integration of all benefits plans, programmes & policies outside the US. Ensures compliance and governance for all international compensation and benefit offerings Builds an International Centre of Excellence for "Reward" within the HR function, in collaboration with colleagues in the regions. Responsible for successful alignment with both corporate compensation and benefits appropriately representing a balanced view across compensation and performance management and benefits of International requirements at corporate level Develop external networks to maintain knowledge of external trends and best practice Required Skills: Extensive experience in managing and executing international compensation and benefits programmes Understanding of Business/HR strategy and ability to shape reward strategies that result in measurable and relevant solutions. Experience in leading large scale change projects eg. M&A, integration or major restructuring. Experience in communicating and presenting complicated strategy and design to senior executives with the ability to influence decision making Standard Job Description: Manages the development, implementation, administration of compensation and incentive policy, procedures, practices, and programs. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the conduct and/or participation in surveys and studies of labor markets to determine compensation trends; analyses of jobs and review of job descriptions and specifications; application of job evaluation techniques; analyses of government regulations, company policies, and agreements with labor unions to establish standard rates. Provides guidance and makes recommendations to line managers and generalists on all compensation issues; and interprets local, state, and federal laws regulating compensation practices. May be responsible for executive compensation, HRIS functions, incentive plans and stock option administration. Communicates or oversees communication of compensation philosophy, plans, and incentives programs to all employees. Typical Minimum Education & Experience: Ideally require an appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience / combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with the role.
