STADIUM PARKING
1. Open the Stadium Parking lesson.
2. Run the simulation at high speed for one home game.
Answer question one below.
3. Reopen the lesson from the File menu.
Attempt to eliminate all fines and lost game day sales by changing your parking staffing levels and
the number of satellite lots and buses.
Run through the first home game. Note any fines and refunds.
4. Repeat step four until you have eliminated all fines and refunds.
After you have eliminated all fines and refunds try to fine tune your staffing and satellite parking levels
for the first game until you meet or exceed the “Number To Beat.”
5. Answer the rest of the questions below.

4. Isolate and discuss the problems caused by understaffing for each staffing position?
Definitions
Ingress  Ingress refers to the flow of fans to or into the stadium.
Egress  Egress refers to the flow of fans out of or away from the stadium.
Bottlenecks  A bottleneck is a lessening of traffic throughput.
In Virtual Business – Sports, you may see bottlenecks occur in the parking lot because of overloaded traffic situations due
to the inability of the parking and security staff to support the current amount of traffic.
Satellite Parking  Any parking lot that is offsite from the stadium is considered satellite parking.
Shuttle buses are often required to transport fans to and from the stadium.
