Week of 12/14 - 12/18
Dear Families,
We are rapidly approaching our Winter Break, but our work is not close to being finished. We have a
very busy week ahead of us and will barely have time to breathe. I hope the information below helps
you make sense of this last week before we all get a much needed break. Most importantly for me is
that each and every one of you have a blessed Holiday Season, regardless of your cultural or religious
backgrounds or what festivities you celebrate and that all of us would be able to remember what is
nearest and dearest to all of us, and that is spending time with dear friends and family. Merry
Christmas to all of you. I hope to see you sometime this coming week, so I can give you my wishes
personally.
Monday – Wednesday
Holiday performance rehearsals during school
(Monday is NOT an Early Release)
Thursday
Dress Rehearsal during the school day
Evening Performance for friends and family (6:00PM)
(Students need to report to the Multipurpose room NLT 5:30)
Friday
Morning performance for the entire school (8:30AM)
*Reindeer Run – Jog-a-thon (10:00AM – 11:00AM)
**Class Christmas Party (11:00 – 12:30)
* Reindeer Run Fundraiser
-Students should be collecting donations for their laps. Donation forms due on Friday.
-We are still in need of orange slices and volunteers to mark laps. Please let me know if you can donate
oranges or your time.
**Class Party
-If you would like to donate cookies or candies, please let me know ASAP.
-Students wanting to participate in a gift exchange need to bring a non-gender specific gift worth $5 or
less.
-We will be eating cookies and doing various Christmas crafts.
Final Note: Report cards go home on Friday (Early Release at 1:20pm)
