Conclusion:
Relate and
comment on the
ideas in your thesis
or reword your
thesis.

details from essay
(but do not restate
your CD's).

Clincher: Like a hook gets your
audience interested in reading
your work, a clincher leaves your
audience thinking about your
work long after they have
finished reading it. A clincher is
usually commentary. This is
your opportunity to develop an
educated opinion about the
topic. Do NOT use personal
pronouns. It is important that
you do not give concrete details
at the end (as you already know,
a CD needs to be supported by
commentary!) (1-2 sentences)
