Fees are charged if anything is returned damaged. If the prop has not been assigned to you. Do not touch it. If you get something out, put it away. Crew days are very busy and we have lots of tools and pieces pulled from our storage. If you take it out, you put it away no matter who else used the item. Keep your hands to yourself. This is an active classroom, and you will experience lots of fun, interesting games and activities. This is not a license to “monkey around” anyone breaking this rule will receive a zero for the day and be sent to OCI immediately. Be nice. It can be difficult to get up in front of others and perform. Encourage your fellow artists; treat them with respect and compassion, and positive reinforcement. I understand that if he/she is to receive a passing grade in Drama or Technical Theater, he/she must follow these guidelines. I will encourage him/her to attend class and be on time everyday. I will encourage him/her to complete his homework on a daily basis. I will NOT expect my son/daughter to be graded based on extra credit projects assigned at the end of the semester. I understand that the semester grade reflects the completion of assignments and progress made throughout the semester. I will also monitor his/her progress by checking on line at least once every three weeks. I will be part of the social media programs offered by the drama department, so I can be thoroughly informed. If I have any questions, I will contact Mrs. Wheaton at swheaton@murrieta.k12.ca.us (951)696-1408x5906. I will also verify that the school has my current daytime telephone number and current email so that Mrs. Wheaton can contact me if necessary. I will make every effort to attend Back to School Night, Parent Teacher Conferences, and Open House so that Mrs. Wheaton can further describe this fascinating, exciting and monumental course, as well as brag about my wonderful son/daughter. __________________________________________________ ________________________________________ (parent’s signature) Print name Parent contact email and Phone ________________________________________ 3 ( ) -
