Let’s Explore the Cave!
Stop! Can you see the octopus? An octopus is a predator that eats clams and other fish. How
does an octopus catch its food? With its suckers! Draw the suckers on the octopus’s arm! Draw
something the octopus might like to eat next to its arm!
Look at the fish! Do fish have feet? No! Fish use their fins to move around their environment.
Draw the fins on the fish!
Find the poison dart frogs! What characteristic does the frogs’ body covering have that
helps them survive? Their bright color means “poison, don’t eat me!” Circle all the colors you
