Subject: Equal Taxation

Every human being regardless of whether they are homosexual or heterosexual has the right to be treated equally under the laws of the

United States. Woops, I meant to say deserves the right to be treated equally because right now we're not all treated equally. My fellow human beings are required to pay more for the same rights that I'm afforded because they prefer to have sex with someone of the same sex.

Hmmm. If we're going to enter judgement into the mix of how human beings are treated under tax laws and insurance provision, I'd like to charge more, tax at a higher rate, those beings who choose to disregard the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services physical activity guidelines, 1996. After all it is certainly risky behavior to not take care of oneself.

My point is that being homosexual does not deserve to be punished any more than being inactive does.

Please let's not tax unfairly those who live differently.

Sincerely,

Lisa J. Rhein
