This year there is also a number cap on a module - FM1001 Key Concepts in Film Studies. (The limit for the module is 155 students. Preference must be give to Entrant students (including JYA/ JSA, then second year and above who pre-advised into it (are already there), then others. You should manage this as follows: 1. Do not remove any students from the list for now, but when you see second year and above students who have pre-advised into it, inform them that they may eventually have to leave the module. 2. Except for 1. above, treat this as a normal quota ˆ only allow entrants to join. 3. Inform non-entrant students who want to join that there may be places and they should contact you again in week one to check. 4. If at the end of Advising the module is over-subscribed then you will be contacted if any of your students have to be removed. If there are places left, you will be informed about that.
