Body of paper goes here. Paragraphs should be indented .5” using the Indent button on
the Standard Toolbar, or the First Line Indent indicator on the Ruler. Paragraph spacing under
the Format Menu should be used to set 12 points between all paragraphs if single spaced. Using
this feature keeps you from having to hit enter twice. Some faculty will ask you to use double
spacing. If so, it is not necessary to put a blank line
between paragraphs. (See Format Menu > Paragraph
settings at right)
Make sure you have put in the Headers and
Footers (View Menu, Headers and Footers) as
shown. These appear on all pages, even the
title page.
