Description
1. Project Description
The Temple University Facebook group is flooded with hundreds of posts from students, trying to sell
and buy textbooks. Very few students are successful in filtering through the Facebook posts to find the
correct book and price. This project will improve the process and efficiency of buying and selling
textbooks among students. Students will be able to search books available by school, major, course,
professor, and book condition on the application and/or website. We will have each new member create a
login. Students will pay a minimal fee to become a member of the website for a year. The student will be
able to pay this fee with a debit or credit card.
2. Project Scope
Inside the work of the team is the creation of website, phone application prototype, and business plan.
Outside the work of the team is the implementation of the application. We will focus on creating a way
for students who are unable to find peers who have the book they need, to find the book they need.

7. Customer Benefits
8. Technology
Architecture
Inability to add particular feature desired on prototype.
Making the website and mobile application identical.
Lack of expertise in Just in Mind.
Higher than expected implementation costs.
Longer than expected implementation time.
Technical performance of application or website below estimate.
Customers do not use application or website.
Project must be completed by April 19, 2016.
The project will help the customer because they will have the ability to buy/sell books
more efficiently. The improvements may have a negative effect on a customer because
they may pay a membership fee to sell a book and may not be able to sell their book. In
contrast, a customer may pay the membership fee to buy and may not be able to find the
book they are looking for.
Will use JustInMind software to create the prototypes for the phone application and website.
