Course Specifications – Master of Counselling (Honours) (MCouns(Hons)) Master of Counselling (Honours) (MCouns(Hons)) Course code: (E7X) Entry 1 Candidates for the Master of Counselling (Honours) shall be qualified for entry if they have obtained the following: Master of Counselling where 70% of core units for this award have normally been completed with a grade point average of Distinction or equivalent. 2 Candidates for the Master of Counselling (Honours) shall complete the requirements as hereinafter prescribed in not less than three semesters of full-time study and not more than six years from the time of first enrolment. Course structure 3 To qualify for the award, the candidate shall satisfactorily complete a course of study prescribed by the Faculty. A candidate shall pass and be awarded the Master of Counselling and then shall complete requirements as prescribed by the Faculty for the award of Master of Counselling (Honours).
