In attendance: Raquel, Heidi, Jennifer, Randall, Lisa, Sara, Greg
--Hair accessories for the girls were discussed. Beads were pricey. We decided to redo hair flowers for all
the girls and they can keep them.
--Sarah said she would look for flowers.
--Raquel said she would contact Steve about not getting fabric.
--boosters agreed to pay to have the ties cleaned for the boys.
--Lisa will contact LeSueur’s about cleaning the ties and see if they can match the current ties and order 11
new ones through them, orchestra paying for the ties.
--First concert went well. There was a little confusion for parents on when the break between concerts
began.
--Strolling strings will play outside between groups at the next concert which is at Taylor.
--Information about the Fundraising cards is on Taylor’s website. Money is due back by October 31.
--Spring travel will be a day trip that is earned by the students. 50 of the top kids in all age groups will be
eligible to earn the trip. The date of the trip will be coming soon, hoping to stay away from Mother’s Day!
--We need to have committees to help with set up and take down of the receptions at concerts.
--Randall will get donation letters ready for Suites and Sweets donations and give to Raquel and Heidi.
--jog-a-thon was discussed briefly and if we have enough donations from the Suites and Sweets concert
maybe some of them can be prizes for the top earners of the jog-a-thon.
--Needs of students were discussed and some of the students may need help with paying dues if they cannot
fundraise them with the current fundraiser.
--treasury report was given by Randall.
