MyLabsPlus Log In Directions
Before you begin: You must have a MCC username to log into MyLabsPlus (MLP). If you do not, visit the
password station at: http://www.mccneb.edu/password/.
Important Note: MyLabsPlus access kits are available from non-MCC vendors; however there is no way to
verify if the code is valid for Metropolitan Community College’s MLP site. Purchasing an access code from
another vendor is not recommended.
Logging into MyLabsPlus:
1. Open your browser and go to http://mccneb.mylabsplus.com.
2. To log in, use your MCC username (the part of your student email that proceeds the @ symbol).
 If you’ve never logged into MyLabsPlus before, your password is: Password1.
 If you’ve accessed MyLabsPlus in a previous quarter, be sure to use the same username
and password that you used last time you logged into MyLabsPlus.
 If you have any trouble with your password, see the directions for resetting it below.
3. On the Welcome screen, open your course by clicking on the course name.
4. The first time you enter the course you will be prompted to read the End User License and Privacy
Agreement. Click the I Accept button once you have read and agree with the terms of use.
5. To complete your registration, do one of the following:
 If you have purchased an access code at the bookstore, select Access Code from the
enrollment options and enter the code.
 If you want to use a credit card or PayPal to purchase access online, select Buy
Online and follow the directions.
 If you are unable to purchase access at this time, do the following steps to gain
temporary access:
Go to the Temporary Access link on the left side of the MyLabsPlus homepage and copy
the access code.
• Click on Course Home and select Access Code from the enrollment options.
• Enter the temporary code. Click the Next button.
• This code is valid for the first 21 days of the quarter. On the 21st day you must pay
for access using one of the above options.
• Important Note: You must wait until the end of the 21 day temporary access to
enter your purchased access code.
6. Once you have entered your access code or purchased online access, you will receive a Confirmation
& Summary page. Keep a copy of this page for your records. Return to your course by clicking the
Return to Course button.
7. IMPORTANT: Before you begin working, run the Browser Check to ensure you can view all
course materials. When complete, you are ready to begin exploring the website and getting to work.
8. TO RESET your MyLabsPlus password, click on “Forgot your password?” below the password
box on the login screen and follow the directions. Enter your MCC username for User ID. An
email with a link to create a new password will be sent to your MCC student email account. You
must log into your MCC student email account to retrieve the link. If you do not know how to get
into your MCC email, please refer to the Directions to Access Your MCC Email.
